Steve Barnes
Having been in the business since he was 15 years old Steve knows all there is to know about Upholstery. He has a wealth of experience in both traditional and modern upholstery methods. Steve spent many years working commercially upholstering public houses and hotels throughout the county, often during the night, whether you're a believer or not, the stories he can tell you about paranormal activity in these old buildings is fascinating. He once tried to retire... but now semi-retired he gifts his wealth of knowledge and expertise to Catherine who carries the business forward.
Catherine Morris
Catherine grew up with upholstery around her, listening to Steve’s tales and inheriting his passion! One of her earliest memories is the distinctive smell of the upholstery shop and remembering Steve toiling away amongst what seemed to be a mountain of materials! But she didn’t immediately go into the trade, it was then thought to be a masculine profession and no place for a girl!! Having worked for many years as project manager in health and social care she finally decided to follow her dream five years ago and join the army of wonderful talented women on the upholstery path!
